It's a fact!

Typically vehicle tyres are 10% under-inflated.

This costs the UK Economy an extra £500,000,000 per year in automotive fuel.

10% under-inflation costs 2% in fuel.

Thus creating 500,000 tonnes of unnecessary Carbon Emissions (C02e) every year.

10% under-inflation wears tyres 8% faster.

Correctly inflated tyres last longer.

10% under-inflation costs the typical HGV operator £1,000 per vehicle per year.

And that is just the cost of fuel and tyres!
