We use high-resolution cameras and strobes to capture sidewall images and sophisticated algorithms to identify embossed lettering and damage on the tyre sidewall.
Comprising two towers housing cameras and high intensity lights on each side of the vehicle to take images of the sidewall of passing tyres. Automatic identification of the embossed lettering on the tyre sidewall and the type of tyre on the vehicle. Including if the tyre is approved for winter use or beyond its approved life.
When available: algorithms are in development and when operational will highlight damage on the sidewall surface of each tyre.
