Overloading of vehicles and axles causes a significant risk to safety as it can affect the handling of the vehicle, and also increases fuel consumption. In addition, a vehicle failing inspection by government inspection and standard agencies (DVSA in the UK) for overloaded axles can be served with an immediate prohibition notice and fines or court summons imposed. This is an additional service to our standard tyre safety check system and is accredited by the UK National Measurements Office to OIML R134.
